Fort Wayne, IN Pay:
$12.50 per hour

Internship (Part-time) About Maumee River Roofing Maumee River Roofing is a premier roofing contractor based in Fort Wayne, dedicated to providing high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow and modernize our operations, we are looking for a motivated IT Intern to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student or entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, real-world business environment. Job Summary The IT Intern will provide technical support to our office staff and field teams. You will work directly with our leadership to maintain our digital infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure our technology is helping us serve our customers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Technical Support:
Assist staff with hardware issues (laptops, tablets, printers) and software troubleshooting.
Software Management:
Help maintain and update our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and project management tools.
Network Maintenance:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining the office Wi-Fi and local network.
Onboarding:
Help set up workstations and mobile devices for new employees and field crews.
Documentation:
Create simple "how-to" guides for staff on common tech processes.
Special Projects:
Support the implementation of new technology initiatives as needed. Qualifications Currently enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of Windows OS, Google Workspace, and mobile device management (iOS). Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude. Excellent communication skills, you must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Ability to work on-site at our Fort Wayne office. Why Join Us?
