Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Deployment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization's desktop and laptop environment is up-to-date, secure, and efficient. This role involves close collaboration with IT teams to integrate desktops into the overall network infrastructure. Responsibilities range from deploying new desktops and laptops to developing automation tools that streamline deployment processes. Responsibilities Prepare and deploy desktops and laptops for end-users, including imaging, configuration, and testing Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and hardware components Perform upgrades and patches to operating systems, applications, and hardware as required Provide technical support to end-users on desktop-related issues, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems Coordinate with IT teams to ensure desktops and laptops are integrated into the overall network infrastructure Document procedures and guidelines related to desktop deployment and support Participate in projects and initiatives related to desktop deployment and support as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred Minimum 2 years' experience with desktop deployment, hardware/software configuration, installation, and testing Strong technical knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and software, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite, and anti-virus software Troubleshooting ability for hardware and software issues Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Independent and teamwork capability Organizational skills and time management proficiency Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (a plus) Experience with Ivanti imaging platform (a plus)
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
