IT Support Technician Cardinal Services/Easterseals Northern Indiana (ENI)

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm Cardinal Services is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support to staff across our facilities and locations. This position will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support computers and mobile devices, manage user accounts, assist with network and security systems, and help ensure staff have secure and reliable access to the technology they need. The ideal candidate is a dependable problem-solver who enjoys helping people, has strong technical skills, and can manage multiple priorities in a multi-site environment.
Job Summary:
Respond to and resolve IT support tickets and user requests in a timely, professional manner. Provide in-person, phone, and remote technical support. Set up and configure computers, laptops, Chromebooks, mobile devices, printers, and other technology. Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access permissions. Support Microsoft 365, VPN, Remote Desktop, Windows, and Active Directory environments. Assist with cybersecurity practices including MFA, password management, antivirus, and software updates. Perform hardware maintenance, upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting. Support the deployment of new technology, including network equipment and telephony systems. Maintain accurate IT asset, service, and configuration records. Support IT compliance with HIPAA, CARF, and internal security requirements. Assist with audits, documentation, and incident response procedures. Monitor device performance and escalate complex server, backup, networking, and infrastructure issues. Provide basic staff training on technology, cybersecurity, and proper device use. Provide on-site support for cameras, badge access, and other physical security technology. Requirements:
Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent applicable experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a multi-site environment. Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, Active Directory, and remote support tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to security best practices. Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and proof of auto insurance. Ability to successfully complete required background and registry checks and other screenings.
