Job Description
IT Support Technician (Level 1)Position Summary We are seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to provide desktop and technical support for end users in both corporate and operational environments. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of IT support experience who is looking to expand their technical skills in an enterprise setting. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate documentation. Required Skills + 1-2 years of IT support or desktop support experience + Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications + Windows 11 troubleshooting and support experience + Experience supporting printers, scanners, and peripheral devices + Strong customer service and communication skills Key Responsibilities + Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, scanners, and other peripherals. + Troubleshoot and resolve Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 issues, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system. + Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other end-user equipment. + Support new hire onboarding, workstation setup, hardware refreshes, equipment replacements, and user relocations. + Perform basic user account administration, password resets, and access-related support requests. + Follow established support procedures, policies, and knowledge base documentation. + Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams when necessary. + Maintain a high level of customer service while communicating effectively with end users. + Meet ticket response and resolution goals. + Assist in creating and updating technical documentation and knowledge articles. + Adhere to organizational IT security, compliance, and support standards. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems. + Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and hardware troubleshooting. + Familiarity with enterprise IT support environments. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. + Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new technologies. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
