We empower researchers, engineers, and enterprises to solve the world's most complex computational challenges by delivering cutting-edge, reliable, and high-speed computing environments. We are looking for a motivated and analytical Entry-Level HPC Technician to join our growing support and infrastructure team. If you're passionate about software and hardware with some knowledge in Linux, we like to talk to you about this opportunity. Position Summary As an Entry-Level HPC Technician at Atipa Technologies, you will receive hands-on training in the maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of state-of-the-art Linux servers. Candidates should have a solid understanding of computer hardware and software, with hands-on experience in areas such as computer assembly, operating systems and hardware troubleshooting. Good knowledge of system maintenance is preferred. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a fast-paced technical environment.
Qualifications & Required Skills System Troubleshooting:
Utilize advanced Linux command-line tools and system logs to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Hardware Maintenance:
Perform hands-on or remote server diagnostics and basic hardware troubleshooting, including component replacements (e.g., DIMM memory modules).
Firmware Update:
Communicate and resolve firmware issues with hardware manufacturers and vendors.
Customer Support:
Deliver knowledgeable technical support to our clients via email, translating technical solutions clearly and professionally.
Command Line & Tooling:
Strong fluency in the Linux command line and deep familiarity with system logs and diagnostic utilities.
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
