In this vital role, you support the Clinical Director in managing client needs during therapeutic programming hours. You will assist with crisis intervention, support with administrative audits, and in any curriculum and office support. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to empower others while advancing your career in behavioral health.
Key Responsibilities:
Flexible in ability to work with Administrative Tasks to support Clinic Needs Communicate private client information to staff effectively & discreetly for client needs. Support for Clinical Director and Group Therapists during group sessions. Support clients in moments of crisis during the time that clients are in office. As needed help to facilitate group peer support sessions for clients in recovery, fostering a supportive and therapeutic environment. Ensure compliance with all Kentucky regulations for peer support. Collaborate with clinical staff to support individualized client care plans. Discharge planning as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Certification as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) in Kentucky, meeting state requirements for training and eligibility. Valid Kentucky driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client safety and confidentiality. Familiarity with Kentucky regulations regarding peer support and transportation services.
Qualifications:
Certified Adult Peer Support Specialist or RADPSS (required) Community Support Associate (CSA) certification (preferred) Training and demonstrated competency in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care Strong ability to model recovery, maintain professional boundaries, and support a structured, client-centered environment Strong computer literacy skills and experience with EMR's, Google Workspace. Strong community connections and collaboration with local recovery resources. Pay:
