We are looking for a dependable Tier I Helpdesk specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for students and school staff. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving technology issues, delivering strong customer service, and supporting a fast-paced educational environment. The person in this role will handle a wide range of hardware, software, and connectivity needs while helping maintain consistent IT operations across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver first- and second-level technical assistance for end users, addressing issues related to computers, mobile devices, classroom technology, and network access.
- Diagnose and resolve problems involving Windows systems, iOS devices, ChromeOS equipment, software applications, and peripheral hardware.
- Set up, install, configure, and update workstations, devices, and software to ensure reliable performance and user readiness.
- Monitor and manage service desk requests, establish priorities based on urgency, and document resolutions for future reference.
- Support user and device administration tasks within Active Directory, Google Admin Console, and other endpoint management tools.
- Track technology assets, including equipment inventory, software licensing, and warranty status, to support operational planning and replacement needs.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, user guidance, and standard support procedures to improve response consistency.
- Travel between school sites as needed to provide on-site support, equipment deployment, and issue resolution.
