Lyne Laboratories is seeking a Full-Time, On-Site IT Support Specialist to join our team and support the company's daily IT operations. Lyne Laboratories is a privately held, well-established company with more than 35 years of experience manufacturing liquid, semi-solid, and powder formulations of both prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) products. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Lyne Laboratories' IT technologies and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have previous IT experience, a strong passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. This position provides an opportunity to grow and develop specialized skills in areas such as Systems Administration, Network Administration, and IT security. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administer network and data security, including user directories, Group Policy, firewalls, virus protection, and email security. Perform and monitor data backups to ensure company-owned data and work are properly protected and maintained. Install, configure, maintain, and update network systems and technology. Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure reliable connectivity and coverage. Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving network equipment, hardware, software, and other IT systems. Respond to IT support requests involving hardware, software, networking, and related technical issues. Provide help desk and technical support to employees throughout the organization. Troubleshoot and resolve system errors and technical problems. Set up computers, equipment, software, user accounts, and other technology for new employees. Maintain and support existing computer systems, peripherals, and other IT equipment. Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot, integrate, maintain, and upgrade company technology. Assist with technology upgrades, system improvements, and implementation of new IT solutions. Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, software, hardware, security practices, and system upgrades. Maintain appropriate documentation of IT systems, equipment, procedures, and troubleshooting activities. Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information Technology role. Experience providing network and server management/support. Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting. Up-to-date knowledge of current technology, information systems, software, hardware, security practices, and system upgrades.
