IT Support Technician (MSP Experience Required) On-Site & Office-Based Remote

Maryland Tech Solutions is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting small to mid-sized businesses throughout the Baltimore area. We are looking for a reliable IT Support Technician with prior MSP or multi-client support experience to assist with both on-site and remote support . This role is best suited for a junior-to-intermediate technician (1-2+ years experience) who can handle day-to-day support tasks independently and continue developing their skillset in a fast-paced MSP environment. This role is primarily focused on business IT environments . Occasional residential/in-shop work may be required, but it is structured and secondary to core MSP responsibilities. This is not an entry-level position . What You'll Be Doing Provide on-site and remote IT support for business clients Perform remote support from our office location (not a work-from-home role) Troubleshoot common issues across: Windows 10/11 systems Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) Basic networking (Wi-Fi, routers, DHCP/DNS, VPNs) Support and maintain: Workstations and user environments Backup systems and endpoint security tools Manage and prioritize multiple tickets across different clients Document work clearly in the ticketing system Communicate with clients in a professional and timely manner Occasionally assist with residential or in-shop work (lower volume, structured workflows) Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 1-2+ years of MSP experience OR equivalent multi-client IT support experience Comfortable handling both remote and on-site support tasks Working knowledge of: Microsoft 365 administration Windows OS troubleshooting Basic networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, VPNs) Ability to prioritize tasks and complete tickets independently Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed Reliable transportation for on-site visits Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience with RMM tools (Syncro, ConnectWise, etc.) Familiarity with UniFi / Ubiquiti environments Exposure to endpoint security tools (Huntress, Webroot, etc.) Experience supporting small business environments (5-50 users) What We're Looking For Someone who is reliable and shows up ready to work Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail Good communicator with both clients and team members Organized with documentation (this matters here) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment Compensation & Benefits $23-$28/hour depending on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) plan Mix of on-site and office-based remote support Structured but flexible schedule

MSP Pay:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
