Position Summary:
Provide assistance to school staff and students in solving hardware/software issues. The contract runs July 1 - June 30.
Qualifications:
2 years of relevant experience in an educational setting preferred Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check Certificate eligibility required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities outlined below are representative and do not encompass or define all tasks that may be required by this position. Provide assistance to school staff and students in solving hardware/software issues. Install and troubleshoot computer applications on both Windows OS and Mac OS Desktops and laptops Install/replace computer hardware (networks cards, airport cards, cd roms, hard drives). Maintain and update district technology hardware inventory Do routine maintenance and cleaning of technology hardware. Work cooperatively with other members of technology support team. Perform related duties as assigned. Connect, disconnect, and move all technology related equipment as required. Maintain and oversee proper backup procedures and reliability on related servers. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills. Experience with computer networks. Good computer repair maintenance skills. Willingness to update technology skills and keep current on emerging technologies.
