This position will focus on supporting audiovisual technology while also providing first-tier desktop support to faculty and staff. The role is temporary, limited to 12 months, and work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities
• Classroom & AV Support Provide technical guidance set up and troubleshoot classroom technology, perform routine equipment checks, and respond to support requests. Event Support Set up and support event technology, provide technical recommendations, and collaborate with internal and external organizers. Desktop Support Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems as needed. Maintain devices in coordination with technical teams. Required Qualifications
• Experience providing desktop support in a professional environment. Familiarity with audiovisual technology and classroom/event technology setup. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams. Modes of Work The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan. Additional Information Full-time, temporary (12-month duration) Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay Rate:
