The Technology Systems Manager serves as the primary technology resource for the organization, overseeing both hospitality-specific systems and the broader corporate technology environment. This role acts as the central point of contact for all information technology matters across the company, supporting restaurant operations, corporate teams, and executive leadership. In addition to managing the organization's hospitality technology ecosystem, including Point-of-Sale (POS) platforms, online ordering systems, reservation platforms, inventory management systems, labor scheduling tools, payment processing, and venue technology, the Technology Systems Manager is responsible for end-user technology support, workstation deployment, hardware lifecycle management, software administration, and cybersecurity coordination.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary administrator for the venues' POS systems, initial setup, user permissions, and system maintenance.
- Configure, test, deploy, and maintain software updates, system enhancements, and technology initiatives across all venues.
- Manage support and integrations between Toast, 7shifts, inventory management systems, reservation platforms, online ordering applications, accounting systems, and other third-party hospitality technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS systems, online ordering platforms, payment processing systems, kitchen display systems (KDS), labor management software, networking, hardware, and other hospitality technologies.
- Provide timely support and follow-up to restaurant management and staff until issues are fully resolved.
- Assist with technology setup, installations, and support for new restaurant openings and existing locations.
- Travel periodically to restaurant and hospitality locations for installations, upgrades, training, and technical support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all company technology and IT-related matters across venue and corporate operations.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, tablets, and other technology equipment used throughout the organization.
- Manage employee technology onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setup, software provisioning, email access, user account creation, permissions management, device deployment, and equipment recovery.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related business applications.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and its third-party IT support providers, internet providers, software vendors, and technology partners.
- Coordinate issue escalation, project implementation, equipment procurement, infrastructure upgrades, and vendor-supported technology initiatives.
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, software patching, password management, user access controls, and security awareness initiatives in coordination with third-party IT providers.
- Coordinate technology purchasing, vendor contracts, and equipment lifecycle planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Hospitality Management, Business Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience supporting hospitality, restaurant, retail, multi-unit, or corporate technology environments.
- Experience with hospitality POS platforms such as Toast, Micros, Aloha, or similar systems.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and user administration.
- Experience configuring and supporting Windows-based workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and common office technologies.
- Experience with reservation systems, online ordering platforms, inventory management systems, labor scheduling software, and payment processing technologies.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, wireless systems, internet connectivity, hardware deployment, and technology troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Willingness to travel and provide occasional after-hour and weekend support as business needs require.
