In this frontline role, you will be the first point of contact for employees facing daily technical difficulties. You will diagnose basic infrastructure problems, guide users through practical solutions, and ensure our business operations run seamlessly. This is a perfect entry-level opportunity for a motivated professional looking to establish a strong technical career in IT.
Key Responsibilities Frontline Support:
Respond promptly to incoming IT requests via phone, email, walk-ins, and our internal ticketing portal.
On-Site Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve routine hardware, software, network connectivity, and desktop printer issues.
Access Management:
Perform password resets, unlock user accounts, and manage basic permissions profiles.
Ticket Documentation:
Accurately document all logged incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within our tracking system.
Escalation Management:
Identify complex infrastructure or software issues and route them to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams with detailed diagnostic notes.
User Training:
Guide non-technical staff members through basic system fixes with patience and clear, jargon-free communication.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
0-2 years of experience in an IT help desk, customer service, desktop support, or retail technology role (relevant training or internships count).
Technical Knowledge:
Core understanding of Windows/Mac OS environments, basic networking concepts, and standard productivity tools.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills with a commitment to high-quality user support.
Problem-Solving:
Analytical mindset with the ability to reference system FAQs and knowledge bases to solve common errors.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; CompTIA A+, Network+, or an Associate degree in Information Technology is a major plus. Physical Requirements Ability to work on-site daily at our facility. Ability to safely lift 25 lbs. (for moving desktop monitors, computer towers, peripheral equipment, or network hardware).
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
