Job Description

Description We are looking for a dependable Help Desk Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for onsite users in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving day-to-day hardware and software issues, preparing equipment for end users, and keeping workstations running efficiently. The role supports a paper and packaging environment and requires a practical, service-focused approach to desktop support.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming support requests, assess technical issues, and determine the appropriate next steps for resolution.
  • Prepare and deploy desktops and laptops by imaging systems, installing required applications, and confirming device readiness for users.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations to ensure reliable performance across daily operations.
  • Install and configure printers and related hardware, including resolving connectivity and device communication problems.
  • Diagnose and address common hardware and software issues affecting laptops, desktops, and peripheral equipment.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and upgrades while verifying compatibility and proper functionality.
  • Support hardware refresh activities, including component replacements and equipment upgrades as needed.
  • Provide onsite desktop support in a fast-paced operational setting while documenting completed work and recurring issues. Requirements
  • Experience providing hands-on desktop or help desk support in an onsite environment.
  • Working knowledge of laptop and workstation hardware, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to image PCs or laptops and prepare devices for end-user deployment.
  • Familiarity with installing, upgrading, and supporting software applications and operating systems.
  • Experience supporting printers, peripheral devices, and hardware connectivity issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across both hardware and software problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple support tasks while delivering responsive customer service.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or data center-related environment is a plus.
