Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated OT Field Support Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing operations within a global automotive and industrial technology environment. The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of Operational Technology systems across manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering and supporting SCADA, MES, AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform, Historian, SQL Server, and manufacturing execution solutions while partnering with Engineering, Production, Operations, Maintenance, and IT teams. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for MES, SCADA, AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform, Historian, SQL Server, and shop-floor data collection systems. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of manufacturing systems supporting production operations. Develop and optimize production reports, dashboards, KPIs, and operational analytics solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing execution, production data collection, historian systems, and industrial communication networks. Perform root cause analysis of production-impacting incidents and implement corrective actions. Support integration between MES, SCADA, PLCs, Historians, ERP, Quality, and enterprise systems. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and IT teams. Support Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Factory, and IIoT initiatives. Maintain SQL Server databases, manufacturing data repositories, and reporting solutions. Ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, and governance standards. Required Experience & Skills 3-6 years of OT experience in automotive, industrial, or discrete manufacturingenvironments. Hands-on experience with AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform, MES, SCADA,Historian, and Microsoft SQL Server. Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, reporting, analytics, and productionsystems support. Experience with OPC UA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and MQTT. Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
