Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical assistance. This position supports daily desktop, hardware, software, and user access needs while helping maintain reliable technology across office and production environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of devices and applications, partnering with internal teams, and delivering practical support that keeps operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver front-line technical support for employees by resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, office applications, conferencing tools, and other workplace technology.
- Diagnose and address problems involving computer hardware, peripheral devices, and workstation performance in both administrative and operational settings.
- Install, upgrade, replace, and retire IT equipment as needed to maintain a dependable end-user computing environment.
- Support production-floor personnel by troubleshooting computers, controllers, and related technology used by operators, technicians, and maintenance staff.
- Administer user access through Active Directory, including account setup, group updates, permission changes, and related maintenance tasks.
- Serve as a key point of coordination with the external managed services provider to communicate support needs and help drive issue resolution.
- Track, organize, and maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies to support efficient deployment and ongoing asset management.
- Set up and configure workstations, displays, monitor mounts, and similar end-user equipment to meet business needs.
- Provide guidance and informal training to users so they can make effective use of hardware, software, and collaboration tools while following secure practices.
