Duluth, Minnesota job type: Contract salary: $59.25 - 74.07 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Coordinate field commissioning and start-up execution plans for liquid pipeline and gas transmission projects, managing schedules, budgets, and contractor workflows.

Perform hands-on fieldwork, including configuration, calibration, wiring, functional testing, and troubleshooting of PLCs, instrumentation, control panels, and communication systems.

Participate in multi-disciplinary engineering design reviews and update commissioning procedures and check sheets to drive continuous operational improvement.

Oversee equipment turnover transitions between Construction, Commissioning, and Operations through system walkthroughs, outage planning, and deficiency tracking.

Resolve technical issues during project start-up, providing guidance to team members and ensuring strict adherence to company safety practices like LOTO and permitting.

qualifications:

Technical College Degree or Diploma in an engineering or technical discipline. Minimum of 10 years of progressive technical and field experience in commissioning, instrumentation, and control systems. Strong working knowledge of industry design and construction codes (such as

API, NEC, CEC, CSA

Z662, and NFPA 11) and safety protocols.
