On behalf of anySiteSolutions, Denton HR Company is recruiting for an IT Technician to provide technical to customers throughout the region. Summary/objective The IT Technician is an integral position at anySiteSolutions. This position is responsible for combining excellent customer service with expert-level information technology skills. Communicates with customers by using plain language, and being courteous, patient and professional Bills time spent to customer Performs IT work that is authorized by the customer contract or management's approval Purchases parts and supplies based on management or customer contract authorization Keeps receipts and records of purchases made for customers Troubleshoots and problem solves customer problems Gathers information from customers and documents the entire process from initial communication to resolution Escalates issues when knowledge, authorization, or tools are unavailable or exceeds IT Technician's knowledge or ability Creates and maintains a safe work environment Uses caution when performing work near electrical equipment, exposed wiring, construction areas, wet areas, and unstable surfaces Communicates with management when unsafe conditions are encountered Performs emergency and after-hours work Maintains confidentiality Does not accept gifts, payments, or favors from customers Maintains safe vehicle operations in both company and personal vehicles Reports incidents to management when encountered Responds to company emails, texts, phone calls and other correspondences regularly Answers phone calls Tracks mileage Supervisory responsibilities The IT Technician does not have supervisory duties. Work environment The IT Technician will work in a variety of weather conditions. The work is performed in office buildings, homes, and outdoors. They are expected to work in small areas that houses IT equipment and/or supplies. Technicians climb ladders and lift heavy loads regularly. Physical demands The IT Technician will be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, and reaching (overhead or otherwise). Manual dexterity and hand use includes grasping, gripping, fine motor tasks, and repetitive motions like typing or operating equipment. Sensory requirements cover vision (close, distance, color, depth perception), hearing, and the ability to communicate verbally. Ability to work in heat or cold, exposure to noise, dust, or fumes, working at heights, lift up to 30 pounds, and the physical stamina to sustain effort across a full shift. Travel required IT Technicians are required to drive company and personal vehicles to and from work locations. Travel is generally restricted to daily work hours. Some overtime travel may be required. Required education and experience Two years of demonstrated experience working in an IT role Two years of demonstrated experience providing technical and customer support Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite products, ticketing systems. Experience using IT tools and equipment Valid and current drivers' license Preferred education and experience Experience using billing and ticketing systems for IT projects Experience using power tools Experience running and terminating network cabling. Project management experience
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
