Customer success is our success. The Auto Parts Sales & Technical Support Specialists is at the frontline of communications to assist potential and current customers with product questions and processing orders. From answering the phone to monitoring email inquiries, it is an essential role in our organization to ensure customer success with our products. A good mechanical aptitude and automotive parts related experience is required to better understand our product and customer's interest. The right candidate will be Customer Service orientated with professional written and verbal communication skills with a strong desire to contribute to building a strong team environment.

Experience:

Automotive mechanical aptitude to relate to our customers and as a foundation to learn our parts catalog.

Our customers may be swapping in a TDI® or a Cummins®, they may be a do-it-yourselfer or a professional shop. As we continue to grow and expand product lines, we expect more diversity in our customer projects.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent service to customers by answering all calls according to company policy, verifying communication relayed to customers is accurate, and follow-up with customers timely Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional, friendly manner Work cooperatively with the other teams that interact with customers Document customer interactions in QuickBooks, including the necessary details for others to understand next steps with the customers' projects

Requirements:

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills High attention to detail with consistent accuracy Proven experience working within a team environment Commitment to delivering professional, customer‑focused service and support Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues Automotive mechanical aptitude, including the ability to understand, diagnose, and work with vehicle systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning additional software tools Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred Familiarity with QuickBooks is helpful but not required.
