Information Technology Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking an entry-level IT Support Specialist to join our team and assist with technology operations for our company of 200 employees. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, provide technical support, and help maintain the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our computer systems and infrastructure. As an entry-level IT Support Specialist, you will assist with daily technology operations and provide support to staff. Working under the guidance of external partners, you will help maintain, troubleshoot, and support our technology systems. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the IT field.
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and supporting technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems, and provide user support for approximately 200 employees. Support the implementation of IT policies and procedures to help ensure system security and reliability. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving IT issues as they arise, escalating complex problems to senior staff or external support when needed. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as directed by senior staff. Assist with IT purchasing and budgeting as needed. Stay informed about technology trends and suggest improvements to senior IT staff.
Requirements:
Requirements Associate's degree in IT, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of IT management experience. Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical staff. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of networks, servers, software, and hardware systems. Experience with cloud computing and virtualization. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
