IT Systems Support Engineer (Field-Based)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Information Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of network services. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and end-users. Duties Provide software troubleshooting and technical support for hardware and software issues. Manage and maintain Active Directory, ensuring user accounts are created, modified, and deleted as necessary. Administer network services, including TCP/IP configurations and network troubleshooting. Utilize SCCM for software deployment, updates, and inventory management. Support Mac OS environments alongside Windows systems, ensuring compatibility and performance. Assist in computer management tasks such as setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations. Communicate effectively with users to understand their IT needs and provide timely solutions. Document technical processes and procedures to enhance team knowledge sharing. Qualifications Proficient in software troubleshooting with a strong understanding of common operating systems (Windows and Mac OS). Knowledgeable in TCP/IP networking principles and practices. Experience with network administration tasks including monitoring performance and security. Familiarity with SCCM for system management is preferred. Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
