This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders Preferred The Desktop Support Engineer role is responsible for providing first and second-level technical support while also managing the efficient assignment and dispatch of service requests. This on-site role ensures end-user issues are resolved promptly—either directly or by coordinating with other technicians—by triaging tickets, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining strong communication between IT and users. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
  • Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
  • Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
  • Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
  • Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks. Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
  • Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in onsite support environments Work Model
  • On-demand / field support role
  • Work assignments will be shared by the Service Delivery Team
  • Engineers will be contacted via phone or email when support is required
  • Engineers will receive site location, SPOC details, and reporting time before each assignment
