IT Service Desk Technician | 13-Week Contract | Kansas City, KS We're hiring an IT Service Desk / Support Technician for a 13-week contract with a major hospital system in Kansas City, KS. This is a great opportunity for someone with a customer-service mindset and solid troubleshooting skills to gain healthcare IT experience. ????

13 weeks ????

Shift:

Evenings, 3:00 PM

Rotating

  • 8 days on/2 days off, then 7 days on/4 days off ?

Weekends:

Pay:

$22

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, chat, remote access, and in person. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. ?

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree in computer systems or related field, OR 2+ years of equivalent IT experience
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Strong customer service, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to support users across multiple channels (phone, email, chat, remote, in-person)
  • High School Diploma
  • Microsoft Windows Certification, or willingness to obtain within first 6 months ?
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous call center or service desk experience
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer equipment
  • Experience documenting service tickets and working within SLAs
  • Experience providing basic technical training to end users ???? New grads welcome! Candidates with an associate degree in computer systems or a related field are encouraged to apply.
