Job Overview Zeiser is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join our team supporting a high-profile customer site in Stennis, MS. This position is ideal for a technically minded individual who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex problems, and working directly with customers in a production environment. The successful candidate must reside within daily commuting distance of Stennis, MS and will be based primarily at the customer location. Travel to other customer sites is expected to be minimal Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software, hardware, network, and application-related issues. Serve as the primary customer liaison, ensuring issues, concerns, and requests are addressed promptly and escalated when necessary. Develop software and hardware specifications to support new and existing customer applications. Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, and issue-resolution reports. Deliver training and support on Zeiser applications and products as required. Assist with deployment and implementation of customer solutions. Ensure contractual service obligations are met and communicate potential issues proactively. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, networking, and databases (SQL and/or Oracle). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to quickly learn new software applications and technologies. Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Vendor Badge following a background investigation. Preferred Experience with data capture technologies including: Barcode Readers RFID Systems Vision Inspection Systems Basic electronics skills, including the use of multimeters and voltage measurements. Basic mechanical aptitude, including equipment assembly, mounting, and adjustment. Experience supporting industrial automation, printing, mailing, packaging, or manufacturing systems.
Pay:
$64,575.91 - $74,543.02 per year
