Job Description

Serves as a help desk technician for a poultry processing plant. The IT Technician will support key plant systems, including weighing scales, industrial labeling printers, weigh price labeling lines, traceability, inventory and QA software, shipping, maintenance, PC's, VoIP phones, office printers, and core network infrastructure. Work schedule of Monday through Friday, second shift with flexibility to work additional hours, holidays, and weekends, as needed. 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm)
Requirements Experience :
Min. of 4 years of related work experience (Preferred industrial environment/not required) Associate degree in I.T., related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in repairing/troubleshooting computers, printers, VoiP phones, networks and can apply these skills to similar machines & systems. Troubleshoots equipment and software issues in offices and production areas. Support and troubleshoot PC software such as MS Windows (10,11), MS Office 365 Support and troubleshoot industrial scales, Sato industrial label printers and applicators, Zebra hand scanners, and inventory software. Support and troubleshoot access control and surveillance systems. Experience using tools for mechanical and electrical work related to the equipment. Must supply your own tools. Familiarity with mechanical and low-voltage work Has ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Strong communication skills Demonstrate ability to multitask in a high-speed environment while maintaining quality standards. Demonstrate strong problem solution, analysis and customer service skills. Work some holidays and weekends if necessary. Wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as hard hat, hair net, steel toe boots, ear plugs, and hair net.
