Job Description

Job Overview New Phoenix, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Support Supervisor to lead and support our Peer Support Specialists. This role ensures that peerdelivered services reflect recovery principles, uphold state standards, and contribute to a supportive, personcentered environment. The Peer Support Supervisor works closely with the Clinical Director or Program Manager to strengthen peer services, promote recoveryoriented practices, and support staff development. Key Responsibilities Supervise, mentor, and support Peer Support Specialists Review peer documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with state standards Facilitate group supervision, team meetings, and peer development activities Coordinate training, continuing education, and skillbuilding opportunities Advocate for recoveryoriented, personcentered services in program planning and development Promote a culture of empowerment, respect, and livedexperience leadership Qualifications NC Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) required Supervisory or leadership experience in peerbased or recoveryoriented services Lived experience in recovery with a strong understanding of peer support values and principles Skilled in documentation, coaching, and supporting recoverybased work Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and traumainformed care
