Summary:
Under the administrative direction of the IT Coordinator, provides technical support to end users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing system maintenance, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Assists in the implementation of new technologies and provides training to users as needed.

- Provides courteous first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, in-person, or tickets.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions by recording them in the ticket system.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems.
- Provide training and support to end users on IT-related topics.
- Collaborate with the IT Coordinator to ensure the overall efficiency and security of the IT infrastructure.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Encourage and support continuous learning and professional growth among team members.
- Recording and producing videos for publicized meetings.
- Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive information.
- Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Participate in regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
- Assist in maintaining configuration, inventory, standards and practices documentation.
- Performs related work as required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in computer science or related field preferred, as well as one year of IT support experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Enterprise 365, Windows OS, and Active Directory.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are preferred.
- Possession of a valid North Dakota driver's license or equivalent.
- Pass CJIS background check
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Technical knowledge of computer systems, networks and software.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as CJIS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Working conditions/
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Work is generally performed indoors in a climate-controlled room. Occasional travel between sites as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Must also be able to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools and computer equipment.
