In this role YOU will:

Troubleshoot end user problems with all forms of technology. Configure and install new and replacement computers. Learn and understand new software in order to train others. Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses. Train all new employees on software and hardware. Travel between Midwest Eye Care locations as needed.

Outstanding candidates will have:

The ability to prioritize and keep requests organized.' Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding local and WAN. CompTIA A+ certification. Experience working with RMM and Windows Active Directory. Familiarity with Windows and Office 365

Education and Experience:

At least two years related experience in Computer Science required. High school degree or equivalent required. Associates degree in Information Technology preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Prolonged periods of sitting while work on a computer. Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop and lay on the floor possibly in tight spaces in order to install equipment. All job offers are conditioned upon the satisfactory results of a background check, education verification, motor vehicle records and urine-based drug testing. An applicant who has received a conditional job offer cannot begin working at MEC until the results from the background check and lab tests are reviewed and approved.
