Job Description

We are looking for a customer-focused Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide day-to-day technical support for users across multiple sites. This contract position is ideal for an IT specialist who enjoys resolving issues quickly, maintaining dependable systems, and helping employees work effectively with a wide range of technologies. The role combines hands-on desktop support, device management, and basic infrastructure troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver first-level technical assistance for desktops, laptops, applications, printers, and connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution of service requests. Prepare, image, configure, and deploy Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and mobile devices for new and existing users. Investigate wired and wireless network problems by identifying issues related to endpoints, cabling, and switch connectivity. Perform routine system upkeep, including software installations, operating system updates, patching, and preventive maintenance activities. Track hardware assets, service history, and device status to support accurate inventory management and lifecycle planning. Partner with senior IT team members on server, network, and infrastructure-related tasks as needed. Assist with technology rollouts, equipment upgrades, testing efforts, and other IT initiatives across the organization. Create user-friendly documentation and provide guidance that helps employees better understand supported systems and tools. 3+ years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or IT support roles. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience and relevant certifications. Practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 and related desktop troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Active Directory and service desk ticket management processes. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently. Clear communication and customer service abilities, with comfort supporting users of varied technical skill levels. Ability to manage multiple support requests independently while adapting to changing priorities. Familiarity with device support across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and mobile platforms is preferred.
