Full Job Description Job Title:
Full-Time IT Support Specialist (School-Based)We are seeking a dependable and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to assist our Manager of Information Technology in supporting the daily technology needs of our school community. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that staff, administration, and systems operate smoothly and efficiently in a secure digital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day technical support to school staff and students for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting systems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Drive), Printers, and internal servers.

Support technology use across school operationsRespond to help desk requests, resolve basic IT issues, and escalate more complex issues to the Head of School or our External IT Security Company.

Help maintain data security and implement best practices for cyber safety within the school setting.

Support classroom and office technology, including audio/visual setups and device troubleshooting.

Maintain documentation of user support requests, troubleshooting steps, and recurring issues.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skillsMust be able to assist individuals with varying levels of tech experienceHighly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage prioritiesA sense of urgency and attention to detail to meet the fast-paced needs of a school environmentDemonstrates reliability, confidentiality, and a collaborative spiritPrior experience providing technical support in an educational setting preferred but not requiredBachelors degree in related field
