Job Description
The IT Technician will provide daily technical support to all employees at the company manufacturing facility as well as remotely resolving support tickets from other Frazier sites. This role is responsible for taking ownership of, maintaining and troubleshooting plant IT equipment; including Laptops, PCs, mobile devices, networking equipment, printers, PLC systems. The position will also provide frontline support, guidance and participate in projects related to the company's Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, comfortable in a manufacturing environment, and able to work independently while supporting plant operations. Key Responsibilities End-User Support Provide on-site, hands-on technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and approved business applications including Microsoft Office Respond to local and remote support tickets, diagnose issues, and provide timely resolutions, reaching out the wider team for support as needed. Guide employees on basic IT usage, software tools, and MES system functions. Assist new hires with IT onboarding/offboarding, Active Directory account creation, and workstation imaging and setup. Plant Infrastructure & Systems Assist IT team in monitoring and maintaining network connectivity throughout the plant, including wired and wireless infrastructure. Support switches, access points, VoIP phones, and related systems under guidance from the central IT Operations Team. Ensure IT equipment on the production floor is clean, safe, and compliant with plant standards. Operational & Administrative Tasks Document troubleshooting steps, system changes, and incident resolutions. Maintain inventory of IT equipment, spare parts, and replacement hardware. Participate in local and corporate IT projects as required. Occasional support after-hours or weekend maintenance when scheduled. Possible occasional travel to other company sites or training locations. Qualifications High School Diploma, Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience preferred CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft Certified a plus 1-3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows OS, Office 365, networking basics, and hardware. Ability to conduct research into IT issues and products as required. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and work in production-floor conditions when required. $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
