Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Mower/Landscaper and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscape features. Whether you're trimming trees, installing hardscape elements, or performing routine lawn care, your skills will help create inviting landscapes that delight clients and enhance communities. Duties Operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as excavators to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and landscape maintenance tasks Maintain lawns by mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to ensure lush, healthy turf Perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate tools and techniques Install and repair hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency Conduct seasonal snow plowing to keep pathways clear during winter months Support gardening activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while applying horticultural best practices Requirements Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is essential for safe and efficient operation Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or construction is highly desirable Familiarity with hand tools, excavators, snow plowing equipment, and irrigation systems is a plus Basic understanding of horticulture principles and garden care techniques Ability to follow safety procedures while working with machinery and in outdoor environments Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of landscape appearance Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is required This role offers an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals eager to grow their skills in landscaping and outdoor maintenance.
