Job Description

Desktop Support Technician (12+ Month Contract) - Morristown, NJ - Up to $29/hr We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join a growing IT team in Morristown, NJ on a 12+ month contract . This is a customer-facing role supporting end users across a wide range of technologies, making it ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide desktop support and technical assistance for hardware, software, and end-user systems Troubleshoot issues across Windows environments, devices, and enterprise applications Support infrastructure services including servers, networks, Active Directory, and cloud platforms Assist with IT projects, deployments, and migrations Perform routine system monitoring and basic troubleshooting Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve technical issues efficiently Maintain and update technical documentation and support procedures Follow established IT best practices, standards, and service delivery processes Required Qualifications 1+ year of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support Understanding of infrastructure technologies (networks, systems, devices) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with technical analysis and data interpretation Excellent communication and customer service skills Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate Exposure to Active Directory, Office 365, device management, or cloud environments Experience supporting enterprise-level IT environments What You'll Gain Hands-on experience across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user technologies Exposure to enterprise IT environments including networks, servers, and modern device management Opportunity to grow technical skills in a long-term contract role
