Position:
IT Technician i-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of IT Technician. The right individual is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software components to ensure the smooth operations of IT systems. The IT Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network systems and IP based devices on the i-80 Gold network to ensure reliability, integrity, and availability for the operation. The IT Technician reports directly to the Director of IT, in all aspects of the i-80 Gold user and network environment and is accountable for all aspects of first level support within that environment.

Reno , NV (Some travel required) Responsibilities Ability to read and interpret documents such as software and hardware manuals, and system configuration requirements Ability to speak effectively to management to understand issues and provide adequate solution Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Adaptability to work effectively in a context of change, manage conflicting demands, and adapt to a variety of situations and individuals Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong computer skills (i.e. MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Exhibit care and concern for fellow colleagues Willingness to work in and support an environment free from bureaucracy Ability to approach work with flexibility and agility as changing business needs arise Be a highly effective contributor Be decisive and results-oriented Maintain personal standards of conduct Be respectful in all working interactions Demonstrate sound work ethics Be consistent and fair Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Min of 3+ years experience in computer networks and systems maintenance Mining network experience advantageous Min of 3+ years experience in Microsoft Operating System Support Excellent written and verbal communications skills Good Interpersonal Skills Attention to Detail Good problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Climb stairwells and be capable of working on elevated platforms Walk on uneven ground Lift and potentially carry up to 25 lbs.
