JOB OVERVIEW

Want to get into the HVAC industry but don't have HVAC experience yet? Lincoln Heating & Air is looking for a dependable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our team as an HVAC Field Support Technician . This is an entry-level position designed to introduce you to the HVAC industry from the ground up . You will work alongside our Warehouse, Installation, and Service teams while learning HVAC equipment, parts, tools, materials, job-site operations, inventory, and the standards required to succeed in the trade. No prior HVAC experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. This position is more than moving parts or working in a warehouse. You will become part of the team that keeps our technicians and installers productive and our jobs moving. Employees who demonstrate the work ethic, reliability, safety, attitude, technical ability, communication, and willingness to learn required to advance may have opportunities to move into our Installation or Service Departments .

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse & Inventory Assist with receiving, organizing, and loading installation and service vehicles. Operate forklifts to safely move products and materials throughout the warehouse. Use the Company's warehouse management system to manage inventory and locate products. Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Pick and pack materials accurately and efficiently. Perform order-picker duties to retrieve products from storage areas. Stage equipment, parts, tools, and materials for upcoming jobs. Maintain accurate inventory and material records. Help maintain proper truck stock and material availability. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Follow all warehouse procedures and inventory-control standards. Parts Running & Field Support Pick up materials and equipment from vendors. Deliver materials to job sites as needed. Return unused materials to the warehouse or designated locations. Safely load, transport, secure, and unload HVAC equipment and materials. Drive Company vehicles for vendor pickups, material deliveries, and job-site support. Assist technicians and installers with parts, materials, tools, and equipment needs. Help resolve material shortages and communicate inventory needs to the Warehouse Supervisor. Support the Installation and Service Departments as needed. Help keep technicians and installers supplied so they can complete their work efficiently. HVAC Career Development Learn HVAC equipment, parts, materials, tools, and basic industry terminology. Learn how service and installation departments operate. Assist supervisors and installation personnel with installation inspections and quality-control processes. Gain hands-on exposure to HVAC job-site operations. Learn safe material-handling practices. Develop the skills, knowledge, and work habits necessary for advancement. Take direction and coaching from supervisors, technicians, and installers. Follow all Company safety procedures and operational standards. Perform other warehouse, field-support, and operational duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver's license required. Must maintain a valid driver's license while employed in the position. Must maintain an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company requirements. Must be legally authorized to operate Company vehicles. Ability to safely drive a Company vehicle to vendors, job sites, and other Company locations. Ability to safely load, transport, secure, and unload HVAC equipment and materials. Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift safely. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow safety procedures and Company processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize HVAC equipment, materials, and supplies. Ability to learn new systems, processes, equipment, and procedures. HVAC experience is preferred but NOT required. We will train the right person.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Basic computer skills. Willingness to learn warehouse management and inventory systems. Forklift experience preferred. Previous warehouse, construction, delivery, automotive, mechanical, or trade experience is helpful but not required. Strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills. Attention to detail. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work in a physically active environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to receive and apply coaching.
