The Arc Ontario PC Technician Salary:
$ 19.67-20.95
Position Overview:
Join our team as a PC Technician and play a key role in keeping The Arc Ontario's technology systems running smoothly. You'll provide hands-on support for computer hardware, software, and networks across multiple locations, while also assisting staff with troubleshooting and training. From setting up new equipment to maintaining servers and supporting audiovisual systems, your work will directly support our mission-driven team. The Arc Ontario Story:
Founded in 1954 we believe that All individuals with disabilities or other challenges are one with their community. Responsibilities Troubleshoots and maintain computer and peripheral equipment at the main facility and off-site locations. Monitors and responds to internal help desk system to maintain a high level of customer service to staff and individuals. Configuring and preparing new equipment for deployment to current agency standards. Requirements Two (2) years of experience working in hardware and software support, and or some combination of customer service and relevant educational experience is preferred. Must be familiar and comfortable working with and troubleshooting Windows systems, printers of various types and should be familiar with the basics of
LAN/WLAN
networking and device hardware repair. Will be required to obtain experience in current Windows desktop operating system, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Exchange and other similar applications. Office 365, Windows server, AV gear, Active Driectory, Microsoft Entra/Identity, MDM platforms, website building/maintenance, customer service, and working in
HIPAA/FERPAA
