Position Summary The IT Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining and improving QCH's technical systems to ensure staff have the tools they need to perform their work effectively. This position is responsible for installing, updating, and supporting hardware and software; troubleshooting technical issues; and ensuring the security and efficiency of agency technology systems. The IT Specialist also supports network management, software development, and database administration functions. This position reports to the IT Senior Specialist. Primary Responsibilities Review diagnostics and assess system functionality and efficiency. Implement and monitor security measures to protect agency systems and data. Monitor security certificates and ensure agency compliance with IT security standards. Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for staff. Install, update, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 (O365) accounts and services. Utilize Salesforce ticketing to track, manage, and resolve IT service requests. Maintain accurate IT asset documentation, including inventory and lifecycle tracking. Anticipate and report costs related to equipment replacement, repairs, and system upgrades. Meet with departments to assess and determine technology needs and requirements. Define project scopes, timelines, and required resources for IT initiatives. Manage and support network, software development, and database administration functions. Identify, diagnose, and resolve system and network issues. Prepare regular status and activity reports. Travel to QCH sites as needed to provide on-site technical support. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline OR at least one (1) year of relevant IT work experience. Technical certification such as A+ Certification, CCNA, Google IT Support Professional Certificate, or a comparable credential . Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Preferred Skills / Experience / Qualities Experience configuring and supporting workflows using Power Automate . Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support staff with varying levels of technical knowledge.
