We care more about your technical aptitude, enthusiasm, problem-solving ability, and genuine desire to learn. You may be a strong candidate if you: Know Windows and macOS very well from hands-on use. Have installed, configured, upgraded, or repaired computers. Regularly troubleshoot your own technology—or help friends and family solve theirs. Have basic hands-on networking knowledge, such as Wi-Fi, routers, switches, IP addresses, or cabling. Enjoy researching unfamiliar technical problems and figuring out how things work. Can demonstrate knowledge of technology you have encountered, even if your exposure has been through school, personal projects, a home lab, internships, or part-time work. Learn quickly, communicate clearly, and are comfortable asking thoughtful questions. Take responsibility for following a problem through to resolution. Work well in a close team. In this role, you will receive hands-on exposure to technologies commonly used by businesses and large organizations, including: Microsoft 365 Windows and macOS support Windows Server and Active Directory Microsoft Azure and Entra ID Microsoft Intune and device management Business networking and Wi-Fi Cybersecurity and identity protection Cloud services Virtualization Data backup and recovery Remote monitoring and management tools Your responsibilities will include: Assisting users with computer, software, account, and connectivity problems. Configuring computers and mobile devices. Troubleshooting Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, printers, networks, and related technologies. Helping deploy and maintain business technology systems. Thoroughly documenting technical work and solutions. Answer support line calls. Learning new platforms and gradually taking responsibility for more advanced projects. We are not expecting you to know everything when you begin. We are looking for someone who already demonstrates a natural interest in technology and has built a useful foundation through whatever opportunities were available to them. College degree or relevant coursework preferred Prior professional IT experience is helpful but not required. Ability to work full time in the office and reside in New York. Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the support schedule. Team has rotating on-call schedule after-hours.
