Job Description
Job Overview InVid Tech is a growing security and surveillance manufacturer and solutions provider serving dealers, integrators, and enterprise customers nationwide. We are looking to add an experienced Technical Support Specialist to our team to support our expanding product line and customer base. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in
CCTV, IP
cameras, NVRs, networking, and access control who enjoys problem-solving and working directly with installers and integrators. What You'll Do Provide phone, email, and remote technical support for security and surveillance products Assist customers with system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting Support IP cameras, NVRs, networking, PoE, routers, and related hardware Help diagnose field issues and guide installers through real-world solutions Work closely with sales and product teams to support deployments and customer success Document issues, solutions, and common troubleshooting steps Occasionally assist with testing new products or firmware\ What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in security, surveillance, or related technical support roles Strong understanding of IP cameras, NVRs, networking, and PoE Familiarity with port forwarding, VPNs, routers, and basic network troubleshooting Working knowledge of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, gateways, PoE, and router configuration Experience working with installers, integrators, or field technicians Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers with varying skill levels Comfortable troubleshooting both hardware and software issues Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with access control, intercoms, or alarm systems Familiarity with ONVIF, RTSP, and video analytics Prior field installation experience Experience supporting dealer or integrator channels Why InVid Tech?
