  • Part-time Hunter Business School, Levittown Campus is seeking a highly skilled and engaging Computer Technician & Networking Specialist (CTNS) Instructor to deliver hands-on training within our 900-hour diploma program.
This role focuses on preparing students for entry-level careers in IT support, computer repair, and networking. Two evenings per week from 6pm-10pm. No Weekends. The ideal candidate brings real-world technical experience and can translate complex concepts into practical, job-ready skills in a lab-based environment.
Program Overview:
The CTNS program prepares students to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues, build and maintain computers, and configure and secure small office/home office (SOHO) networks. Students gain hands-on experience by building their own computer and working through real-world scenarios involving networking, operating systems, and security.
Instruction includes:
Computer hardware, repair, and troubleshooting Operating systems: Windows, macOS, and Linux Networking fundamentals, infrastructure, and communication Wired and wireless network configuration and troubleshooting Windows Server environment and Active Directory administration Network security, threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance Emerging technologies: cloud, virtualization, mobile, and unified communications
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured instruction across CTNS course modules, including: Electronics & Digital Technology Computer Technology & Operating Systems Networking & Infrastructure Facilitate hands-on labs, including PC builds, network setup, and system troubleshooting Prepare students for CompTIA A+ certification and exposure to Network+ objectives Reinforce both technical and professional skills aligned with career readiness Monitor student progress and provide consistent academic support Maintain an organized, engaging, and career-focused classroom environment Collaborate with administration and career services to support student outcomes
Qualifications:
At least 2+ years professional experience in IT support, computer repair, or networking Strong working knowledge of: PC hardware and troubleshooting
  • Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Network configuration and infrastructure
  • Basic cybersecurity principles. Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory preferred Industry certifications strongly preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco, etc.) Prior teaching or training experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to teach hands-on learners This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who wants to share their expertise, mentor students, and help build the next generation of computer technicians and networking specialists.
