Job Description
Required Education:
- Associate's degree required with a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field
Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL V4 preferred
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experienced in the following ITIL processes and procedures, including ticketing systems (like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc)
- Experience supporting end-user Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS) and M365 products, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, etc
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Skilled in understanding and managing risks appropriately
- Experience with end-user compute devices and peripherals (laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile device configuration)
- Experience in supporting software applications, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop ToolsProject OverviewThe IT Site Service Specialist for the CEC Region is responsible for managing and executing all aspects of IT activities, services, technology, and products provided by the IT department specifically for the CEC Region.
- End User Support
Maintenance of IT Resources:
Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of IT resources to ensure their optimal performance and reliability for the CEC Region- Additionally, the IT Site Service Specialist role involves managing all activities necessary to anticipate, prevent, and respond to technology interruptions, ensuring uninterrupted IT services for the CEC Region
- This includes providing support for the setup, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to services, technology, and products
- The role requires determining solutions, providing technical feedback on changes/enhancements, creating tests, tools, and diagnostic procedures, and assisting in complex technical solutions that may require changes to core functionality, code, and systems operation
- Service fulfillment is also a key responsibility, ensuring that customer requests from the CEC Region are met efficiently and effectively
- Assist in monitoring compliance with IT standards and processes
- Assist with the testing and implementation of new systems
