Job Description

Overview This role provides technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT and audio-visual (AV) systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Responsible for general day to date support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible: Assist in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems Provide first-line technical support for end-users, addressing issues with computers, printers, and mobile devices Perform basic system updates, installations, and configurations Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems Support live events, including meetings, webinars, and presentations, ensuring AV equipment functions seamlessly Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues during events or regular operations Maintain accurate records of IT and AV equipment inventory Document and track support tickets, solutions, and system changes Report recurring technical issues and suggest potential improvements Work closely with senior IT staff to learn and grow technical skills Provide basic IT and AV training to end-users as needed Qualifications Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years' experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements:
Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, and networking. Familiarity with audio-visual technology, including common AV setups and troubleshooting techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AV platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar. Understanding of video editing or basic multimedia production. Basic knowledge of cabling and signal flow for IT and AV systems. Working Conditions Extensive Use of Computers Extensive time sitting/standing Able to lift up to 5 lbs Maximum Salary USD $55,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $44,000.00/Yr.
