Student Life | Technical Services Administration As part of the Student Life Client Computing Infrastructure Team, the Client Support Engineer provides a wide range of information technology infrastructure services including but not limited to the analysis, design and deployment of client computing infrastructure, applications, and tools. The Client Support Engineer also provides user education and assists users in the use of general-purpose hardware and software products that used to address university computing needs. This position is responsible for the reliability, performance, recoverability and security of Student Life client computing, hardware, operating systems, and infrastructure applications. This role also leverages industry knowledge and thorough understanding of technical capabilities to implement, configure, coordinate, control, troubleshoot, maintain security, monitor usage, and develop specialized procedures relating to the use of the distributed computing environment within Student Life. This position may serve as an informal resource for less experienced colleagues. Works on complex projects of large scope. Completes routine work independently and receives general guidance on new projects.Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; 4 years of relevant experience managing and supporting a client computing infrastructure.Desired:
