standards Computer hardware IT CompTIA Security+ Full Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced IT Support Desk Specialist to provide technical support in a healthcare environment . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 , RingCentral , Knowbe4, HIPAA compliance , and cybersecurity best practices . This role supports administrative staff while ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant IT operations. Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support through desk‑side support, ninjaOne, MS Teams, phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, Intune)
• Triage and support hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues. Escalate and manage tier 2 issues with our Managed service Provider (MSP).
• Administer and support RingCentral phone systems, including user setup and troubleshooting
• Control and document employee onboarding/offboarding events (accounts, access, equipment)
• Follow and enforce HIPAA compliance and data security standards
• Apply cybersecurity best practices , including MFA, endpoint protection, and phishing awareness
• Document Cyber Security related activities in a database: Changes, resolutions, and procedures
• Be a strong Team Player
• Provide excellent customer service to healthcare staff Required Qualifications
• 1+ years of IT Help Desk or IT Support experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support
• Experience working in a healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and data privacy principles
• Experience with Multi Factor Authentication
• Experience with RingCentral or VoIP systems
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity concepts (MFA, access control, endpoint security)
• Experience with the NIST Cyber Security Framework
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft
• Familiarity with EDMS systems for automation
