Job Duties:
  • This entry-level internship introduces you to IT operations through hands-on work with Tech Dynamix's Technical Support team. Interns do real work from day one
  • staging equipment, handling tickets, and learning industry practices
  • while working alongside experienced technicians who mentor from their own experience learning the trade.
Key responsibilities:
  • Configure and stage workstations and laptops for technician deployment
  • Maintain asset inventory through tagging, serial number recording, and documentation updates
  • Process password resets, account unlocks, and basic Microsoft 365 administrative tasks under supervision
  • Answer and triage incoming support tickets
  • Perform bench work including memory swaps, drive replacements, and equipment testing
  • Securely wipe and prepare retired equipment to protect client data
  • Accompany technicians on client site visits to observe real-world application
  • Document learned procedures for future reference
  • Write ticket notes following professional standards
Job Requirements:
  • Required:
  • Demonstrable interest in IT (home lab, coursework, self-built machines)
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of an IT/computer program (high school, community college, university, bootcamp, or equivalent self-teaching)
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar software quickly
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Professional communication skills in person and by phone
  • On-site availability at our Painesville or Hudson locations
  • Legal work authorization in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred:
  • CompTIA A+ certification (earned or in progress)
  • Customer service experience (retail, food service, etc.)
  • Networking fundamentals knowledge
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation/Benefits:
  • $15.

00 to $18.00 an hour
