Job Duties:
  • The IT Support Technician I is the first person a client reaches when their technology stops working.
You'll handle Windows desktop support, Microsoft 365 administration, and equipment deployment for small and mid-sized businesses across Northeast Ohio, reporting to the Service Delivery Manager.
Key responsibilities:
  • Field client support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot Windows desktop/laptop issues and Microsoft 365 problems
  • Deploy and configure workstations and mobile devices
  • Support network hardware and peripherals at client sites
  • Escalate complex issues with clear, documented notes
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation
  • Travel to client sites across multiple counties as scheduled
Job Requirements:
  • Required:
  • One year of professional IT support experience (or equivalent combined education, internship, and hands-on experience)
  • Proficiency troubleshooting Windows 10/11
  • Microsoft 365 administration knowledge
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Ability to explain a technical problem clearly to a business owner who never wanted to learn about it
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Legal work authorization in the United States
  • On-site availability at our Painesville or Hudson office
Preferred:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Managed service provider (MSP) experience
  • Familiarity with a professional services automation (PSA) platform
  • Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
  • Active Directory and Entra ID administration
Compensation/Benefits:
  • $40,000 to $50,000 annually plus paid overtime (full-time, non-exempt)

Schedule:
