Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Support Technician for a Direct Hire position with a Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer located in Kent, OH. This position is fully onsite.

Compensation:

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance onputers and other Information Technology related peripherals, serving as the first point of contact forpany employees. The role involves hands-on Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure within a multi-site Microsoft environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Technical Desk Support as the first point of contact for hardware, software, operating system, network, ERP, website, and application issues

Manage IT Hardware, Software & Assets including maintenance, configuration, upgrades, and deployment of desktops, laptops, ers, and peripherals

Support Systems, User Accounts & Network Infrastructure, assisting with Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and LAN/WAN connectivity

Support ERP & Business Systems Projects by documenting processes, assisting with upgrades and testing, and developing end-user training materials

Manage Physical Access & Security Systems, including door access controls, badges, and key fobs

Manage Telmunications & ing Infrastructure, administering thepany VoIP/PBX phone system and enterprise er/copier fleet

Maintain Critical Facility IT-Related Systems such as thepany generator and supporting infrastructure

Coordinate IT Projects & Operational Activities by tracking milestones, deliverables, and timelines

Manage IT Vendors & Service Providers, serving as the primary contact for upgrades, repairs, and maintenance

Primary Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Knowledge ofputer hardware, ERP systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
• Basic knowledge of servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL
• Ability to set up and configure PCs, ers, peripherals, and networking equipment
• Experience providing onsite and remote troubleshooting and technical support
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
