NO Stanley Electric U.S. is seeking an experienced IT Applications Engineer to support the design, development and modification of computer applications and programs, ensuring efficient and effective fulfillment business objectives.

Our London, Ohio facility houses lighting and mold design, construction, production engineering, and dedicated associates in our Quality, Assembly, Sales, and Customer Service departments. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Support C.Core, Plex, and SAP users including report development Support SAP/Plex/C.Core interfaces schedules and errors Work with associates and software providers in all phases of software implementation including requirements gathering, testing, and support. Support EDI using Gentran applying updates, troubleshooting, etc. Database maintenance and troubleshooting for SQL servers Address other issues and/or assume other responsibilities as opportunities arise Develop and participate in department projects as requested to allow departments to work more efficiently

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY
Associate's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or experience in Plex, SAP, and/or EDI Experience with EDI A minimum of 4 years experience as an Application Engineer Experience with Microsoft products Experience with SQL Database and Windows Operating Systems Experience with query based report writing Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and end users Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
Lifting (40lbs maximum) 0.5 hours per day General Office Environment (8) hours per day On Call Availability (24) hour per day Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training. Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
HAZARDS:
While performing the job the position could be exposed to moving or mechanical parts. Moderate noise levels within specific areas of the plant may require to wearing of hearing protection.
