IT SPECIALIST
(INFOSEC/ NETWORK), GS-2210-13, you will perform the following duties: 1. Directs the unit's standardizion and evaluion program. Leverages expert weapon system and crew position knowledge to develop policy to assess Cyberspace Operor readiness to perform the mission. Coordines with MAJCOMs, Numbered Air Forces, Group Standardizion and Evaluion, and active duty counterparts to ensure unit evaluion program reflects AF standards and metrics. Develops and institutionalizes methodologies to assess operor's currency and readiness to opere on contingency and training missions. Provides remediion's to trends in operor performance on evaluions. Ensures accuracy of vital records documenting each Cyberspace Operor's evaluions and qualificions. Certifies Crew Informion File updes th provide timely operional informion required for operors to read before being cleared to opere on missions. (50%) 2. Serves as unit standardizion/evaluion evaluor. Performs analysis, evalues and examines Cyberspace Operors to determine their degree of proficiency in opering a cyberspace weapon system and meeting the standards of particular crew positions and special mission profiles in accordance with published requirements. Conducts scheduled and unscheduled positional, written and supplemental evaluions/examinions. Instructs, verifies and certifies the qualificions of individuals nomined for the Instructor Cyberspace Operor and Standardizion and Evaluion Examiner (SEE) upgrade qualificions. (20%) 3. Performs cyberspace operions th protect and defend (or assess the capability to protect and defend) informion and informion systems by ensuring their availability, integrity, authenticion, confidentiality, and non-repudiion. Provides for mission assurance of informion systems by incorporing protection, detection, and reaction capabilities. Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of DoD informion systems to identify associed vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs. Provides technical and subject-mter expertise to improve the defenses of assessed missions and systems. Defends missions and systems against adversary exploition. Operes in-garrison and deployed cyberspace weapon systems. At a minimum, maintains currency as a qualified Evaluor Cyberspace Operor. (20%) 4. Applies comprehensive knowledge and understanding of informion technology, cyberspace operions, and the unit's tasked missions to develop and monitor unit policies and procedures. Assesses changes to higher-level policies, standards, directives or operions manuals to determine impact on unit plans, policies, programs or operions. Prepares and recommends changes to unit programs to ensure conformance to current guidelines. Ensures offline training environment meets unit mission evaluion needs. Recommends the development of new concepts, criteria, and standards for inclusion in cyberspace operions training programs. 1. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Special Compartmented Informion (TS/SCI) eligible security clearance. 2. GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: All series personnel must be certified the next higher level before being eligible for th level and must have a minimum of one year on-the-job experience in the grade immediely below the next higher level. An applicant must have a valided understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupional series and grade.
BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
In general, to qualify an applicant for any GS-2210 position, apply and evalue the applicant's competencies (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Behaviors), military and civilian experiences, completed educion, learned skills, obtained knowledge, endorsed abilities, and training program accomplishments. The following qualificion factors are applicable to the Cyberspace positions: Skilled in collecting and analyzing da effectively, efficiently, and accurely; Ability to plan, direct, and coordine difficult and complex programs; Ability to develop, apply, and adjust cyber program plans to tain agency objectives; Ability to select, develop, and supervise a subordine staff; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relionships, not only with subordine staff, but with all levels of key management officials, the lter particularly requiring the exercise of tact, ingenuity, and resourcefulness; Ability to make oral and written presentions in a clear and concise manner; Ability to apply a high level of sound and independent judgment in the solution of cyber program problems and cyber mission requirements; A broad knowledge of and ability to utilize principles, methods, techniques, and systems; Ability to write proper English in reports and presention forms; Ability to communice clearly and effectively; Skilled in training, mentoring, and problem solving; and, Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program merial.

: Must have least 36 months of specialized experience working the cyber program's standardizion and evaluion programs.
