About the Role We're looking for a Network Specialist who loves solving problems, thrives in a fast-moving environment. This role gives you a mix of hands-on networking, client support, project work, and the autonomy to make decisions that actually matter. What You'll Do Network Engineering & Support Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and firewalls Support and secure remote access solutions (VPNs, SSL, IPSec, etc.) Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues Optimize Wi-Fi systems and implement best practices Use monitoring tools to proactively catch and resolve issues Security & Compliance Apply security policies and hardening standards across clients Support compliance initiatives like PCI, HIPAA, and internal audits Assist with onboarding clients into standardized security stacks MSP Operations & Support Serve as a escalation point for helpdesk Work with the team to improve processes, documentation, and standards Participate in scheduled on-call rotations Help deliver projects such as: Network rebuilds Firewall upgrades Server migrations Wi-Fi redesigns New location IT deployments Client Communication & Relationship Building Communicate clearly and professionally with clients Help guide them through issues and project outcomes Represent TKG's values in every interaction Scorecard & Success Metrics Strong client satisfaction and communication Dependable follow-through and project execution Stable, well-documented client networks Proactive identification and resolution of recurring issues What You Bring 3-5 years of networking or MSP experience Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls Familiarity with SonicWall, Cisco, UniFi, or similar hardware Strong troubleshooting instincts and curiosity Great communication and documentation skills A drive to learn, improve, and take ownership Why TKG?
